EVC Training
All establishments should have a specifically trained and competent Educational Visit Coordinator (EVC) in place whose role it is to assist the Headteacher with the management and approval of educational visits. The EVC training course is overseen and endorsed by the Outdoor Education Advisers Panel (OEAP) and is transferable across establishments and Local Authorities.
The training programme is developed by the Panel, who have produced “National Guidance - Guidance for the Management of Outdoor Learning, Off-site visits and Learning Outside the Classroom” available at www.oeapng.info
Our EVC training is OEAP accredited and therefore nationally recognised. OEAP accredited coursed are endorsed by DfE, and cover the local procedures and management checks recommended by; National Guidance, the Local Authority and school employers. Training is valid for three years.
Details on courses running can be found below.
